Shotgun Reloading help

Recipe will tell you which wad. Clone wads copy specific brand wads.
Lawry's and Hummason are the most economical source.
For Euro wads, Sporteque or Will Bilozir supply Ballistic Products items in Canada.

The Hodgdon website has a very good section on reloading shotshells. It does give recipes for the cheaper hulls, such as Challenger (Cheddite). I dont mind using the Cheddites as they are freely available, with the caveat that I only reload them once. Claybuster wads work well, at least in 28 gage, so there is an opportunity to utilize the cheaper wads as well.

I used to trap shoot and reload a lot. I always used Winchester AA hulls, they seemed to be the longest lasting by far. I used claybuster wads if I remember and "Red Dot" powder - I think it was Hercules then but (Alliant?) now
