i'm new to shotgun reloading and am having a bit of a hard time finding supplies locally. ( wads, shot....)

Does anyone know of any places in Nova Scotia, im in the Halifax area, where i could buy some supplies.

i realize its not going to save me and money, i just enjoy doing it and my nephew started hunting and wanted to learn how.

Brian Densmore in Middle Musquodoboit should have what you need. If not he'll order it for you. Great guy to deal with. 902 568 2990
When you're talking with him, his quoted prices usually include tax. Ask that question if he doesn't mention it.

While there are numerous stores with loading supplies, most of my shopping is done at the gun shows. I pick up primers, powders, wads, and shot at almost every show. Many of the supplies at shows are cheaper than store retail. I buy it whether I need it or not, especially powder.

Perhaps not great savings on 12 gauge standard loads, but .410, 28/16 gauge, and slug/buckshot loads there is great savings.

Price it out. In ontario, it is cheaper to buy shells....at least for 7.5 target loads. I like reloading but it costs about $100 more per thousand rounds. Myself, my wife and son shoot 4 rounds of skeet....that's 300 shells. It doesn't take long to add up. It is the lead that seems to be expensive....I am looking into a shot making setup. Still nice to be capable of reloading.
