Shotgun Scope Shim?

I have a scope mounted on a Moss 500 using a side mount weaver base. I have run out of elevation adjustment in the scope and POI is 8" low at 25 yds. How can I shim this set up to raise POI? Any help is appreciated.

Try rolling your scope in the rings, and using the windage as elevation and the elevation as windage. You might get enough out of it like that. Otherwise, you're either going to have to either elongate a hole in the mount (definitely not preferred method), re-drill mounting hole in a different location, or change scopes to one with more internal adjustment.
