I am looking to buy a scope for my 870 expr.sup.mag. and a i need your help.
My needs are;
-it must be good for hunting (rifled barrel)
-250,00$ max
-looking cool would be great
-good magnification would be appreciated since it seems that we can shoot a slug up to 150 yards with a rifled barrel.

Someone told me that a Nikon Slugunter 3-9x40 or something similar would do the job. What do you think?

I saw on this forum some tactical scope(damn it looks cool!!). Are they good for hunting or only for zombies!!?? What is theyre magnification? Where can i find some stats? And how much do they cost??

Thank you.

My brother has the Nikon slughunter, I don't find it to be any good past 50 yards and I have 20/20 vision

You can use them for whatever you want, really. Some other hunters might laugh at you a little bit, though :)

x2. Put one on the cut down 870 that I use for slugs and 00. Really like it. Actually I think floating dot scopes are just plain fun too. Put one on my brothers 22 and I keep trying to find ways of getting it back.
