Ive got a Mossberg 930 field edition. Out of the box it shot standard foster slugs about 6" left at 25 yards. I was obviously annoyed by this as my 870 shoots dead center with the same slugs. I figured the cheapest and easiest way to straighten it out was to put a rear sight on it. So i installed a hiviz rear sight that clamps onto the rib. But even with the windaged maxed out it still shoots about 2-3" to the left.
What other options do i have to get it shooting straight?

Try using different ammo. Some shotguns don't like some ammo. The trick is to feed it what it likes.

This surely doesn't mean you bought it new?!? If so, send it back for whole unit exchange (or at a minimum, warranty).

Based on the fact that you bothered with the rear sight attempted solution, it sounds like somebody stuck you with a buggered gun. Is it a rifled barrel or smooth bore? If it's a rifled barrel, those are the wrong slugs (which I'm sure you know).

I bought it new about 3 years ago. Up until now ive only fired shot and never really patterned it. Its a smooth bore.
 
Just some ideas...
Have someone else shoot it as well to see if it truly is the gun

If you are shooting freehand, maybe try from a rest or sandbag in case you are pulling the shots/flinching

Check to see if the barrel's choke tube threads are machined straight (equal wall thickness around the muzzle). Have seen some remingtons very crooked, maybe bad choke installation is pushing the slug to the left if all else is lined up properly.

Try a different choke tube to see if the one you've been using is somehow off.

Im shooting off a rest and my other shotguns shoot fine.

Im going to try different choke tubes. Good idea
 
A shooter at the trap club told me that guys will drop a small sandbag on the barrel as a way to slightly bend it as needed. I guess you have to know where to support it as well.
 
Drop a sandbag that’s hilarious maybe just bend it in a car door
After all that jabber this is what’s needed I made a bbl press years ago I could make a bbl shoot anywhere you wanted it only needs a few 1000” of a inch to move point of impact
I could straighten rifle and shotgun bbl’s that had been driven over
As long as they did not have a kink
 
Ive seen a guy bend barrels in the crowd stands. Thought he was crazy. Years later i had a gun that shot way off so i tried it myself. Took me a few attempts but it works
