Shooting a Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus and realizing that the fibre sight actually distracts me from finding and following the target. I have an early 80s Citori that just has a simple bead, and I have no problem with that.
Does anyone know what's involved in changing out the sight on a A400? Is it red locktighted, thus requiring heat that could mess up the camo wrap? Or can I just gently use pliers to unscrew the sight and replace with a bead?
I've order this sight kit: https://www.stoegercanada.ca/product/7-piece-front-sight-kit-for-beretta-shotguns/
Likewise, I have another early 90s Citori that also has a fibre sight? What's involved in replacing that one, and where could I find a simple bead to install?
Lastly, I gather that it would be ideal to have a bead installer to install properly? https://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-tools-supplies/shotgun-tools/shotgun-sight-tools/shotgun-sight-installers-prod879.aspx
Anyone know someone in Canada who sells?
