Shotgun sights

You should determine which sights allow you to quickly and accurately engage the majority of the targets you expect to see during the course of fire.

I would think that a vent rib with a front bead, fiber optic or otherwise would be fastest for clays and steel plates at short distance.
Ghost ring/rifle sights for slugs and longer range targets.

If you want a one stop shop to ask and learn about multi/3gun, you should probably check out the course that will be held at EESA:

That would be a great course, unfortunately the date doesn't work for me. Hopefully I can pick a few brains to try and get by. Leaning towards ghost ring right now.

Generally a vent rib with a bead is faster for clay targets, and steel plates out to around 40-50 yards. A ghost ring is generally a little more precise for longer range targets such as plates past 50 yards.

At your typical match, what type of targets will you be require to shoot the most? (Hint, neither match directors not range officers like the idea of having to walk out to re-set a bunch of 75 yard steel plates that competitors have shoot down.)

Pick the sight that will gain you the most points and speed on the greatest number of targets.
