Split the stock on my 828 and a chunk actually fell off.Is there a shotgun stock guy anyone could recommend for repairs? Will post a pic tonight but am truly disappointed .
Thats a clean break and a pretty easy fix. However, I would be inclined to try to establish why it broke (ie perhaps an inletting issue) and address it.
I agree in the picture you can see 2 set screws which I'm wondering were tightened incorrectly on one side.This is an early version of the 828U so could have been a miscue but the grain also looks like it is running the wrong way.
