Shotgun suggestions

A warning to newbies considerring a BPS or Ithaca 37, they eject unfired shells with enough force to split your toenail in half and make leave a trail of bloody foot prints to your first aid kit. So no wearing sandals while shooting.
If you're looking at pumps like the wing master, Ithaca 37 and BPS and dreaming of a semi you should also consider Semi auto's like the Weatherby SA-08 and Franchi Affinity. They both have excellent reputations and are probably the best deals in their price ranges for a semi. I

Yup, my BPS kicks them out with authority :) Very nice shotgun though, all steel like the Ithaca and it so far fires everything I throw in it. The only con in my mind is it is a little on the heavy side for packing around.

If you buy a semi look at the sx3. Can find used ones for under 800. The cheap mossberg 535 is more ideal for turkey and deer. If you hunt ducks look at a nice pump like a bps or nova. The combo deals are ok for deer and turkey.

+1 for the weatherby sa-08, love mine. But of course what Stubblejumper said, a shotgun must fit you. Don't be hasty or unnecessarily cheap, get some help and pick one that fits perfect.
