FYI, furniture does not refer to the wood. Furniture is the visible small metal parts of a double gun: toplever, triggerguard, safety tab, forend release lever, etc. These parts are normally blued.
Never heard that before. In all my circles furniture has always meant the type of stock the gun is wearing.

Wow a debate over my post huh I asked for a price on mu buddies gun and just relayed a message so next time I will do a better description but the last few replies didn't really help me but my thanks to the first few

Well mr back sorry my inadequate terms disturbed u but sorry I'm not a shotgun guy and I'm not up on shotgun terminology so my utmost apologies to anyone in the shotgun world and as I have said 2 times before I will check and double check my terminology next time I try to help out a friend so again I really really really apologize to whomever I offended
