Not really sure hope to approach this, but please let me pick your brains. I was thinking of selling a shotgun I have, but have no idea of how much to ask for it. I know, I know, I could put it up for $1.00, but we need gas money. So this is what it is. Please give me a range of what is fair value.

Remington 870 Wingmaster
About 15 years old. Blued finish. It does need a re-finish but no rust.
18 inch I/C choke 2 3/4 12 gauge. Barrel clean and in great shape.
2 shot extension is new dull finish and is brand new.
High Vis follower
Scattergun Ghost ring night sights.

Seriously on the EE right now maybe as high as $600 with the add ons. Question is how quickly do you need the money. Time equals money. $600 should sell well, $400 would go like hot cakes. Remember there is no "real" value. It is worth what you can get. Ask for more and wait until it slles (maybe never) or price it low and move it fast.

P.S. Never sell a gun for gas Money. Learn to walk or take the bus and keep the gun. The gun is an asset while fuel is consumption. Keep the gun, she sounds like a prize and you'll never get what you paid out of selling her.

The gas money was a joke actually. Having just done a long driving vacation.

Good points about value. I will keep that in mind if I post it for sale.
