Hey alterTK check with Marstar.ca, they have the Norinco M97 knockoff trenchy gun, comes with the bayonet attachment already. Some one correct me on this but I think it's slamfire? Oh dear, looks like they're sold out right now.

The 590A1 with the 20 inch barrel and long magazine toob is set up for a C-7/M-16/AR-15 bayonet.

I have a Remington 870 Express 12 guage (3") that is pretty much as it came off the assembly line 16 years ago except for the sling that was installed. This is the gun I use for duck and upland game.

I have my fahter's Cooey 16 guage duck gun. It is the only single shot 16 I have ever seen that would take a 3" round, but I have not looked at very many of them either. I have not used it in years, but I shot quite a frew ruffed grouse with it when I was younger.

The last one I have is a Mossberg 590 with ghost rings and a 20" barrel. It has a Winchester 94 bead sight up front, a high vis followere, and a Knoxx Spec Ops stock that has a pistol grip and an adjustable, and recoild reducing butt stock. Oh, and I forgot the side saddle that has to be installed on any shogtun like this :). This is a toy more than anything; I bought it to shoot slugs and buckshot at paper. I have also purchased a M16 bayonet for it just becuase it fits on.

I have a browning 10 Gauge BPS, use it for geese and duck often pass shooting. Often a late season hunt on the niagara river has thick feathered fowl and I do not enjoy the chase. I am the boat driver too, so I usually have a better range for finishing shots, before I get in the boat. Other guns I have are a 20 gauge single shot(fun for grouse), 12 gauge side by side(stevens).

For trap...K-80 Unsingle Combo....nothing fits me as well, maybe because i've put so many rounds through it..... for other clay sports and hunting...any sxs that fits well and is lively in my hands...20 ga. for upland birds.....external hammers and damascus barrel for Black Powder skeet or hunting....def. no barrel under 26" for good swing on target and follow through...I do prefer a single trigger on any sxs that will use heavy recoiling loads(3" Mag.)

shotguns

I have shot all of these groups with an 870pump and find it to do well in all. I like the lighter end of the barrel and find it easier to lead with and for me, quicker to respond to grouse, ducks, etc. The Express Magnum is already partially tactical and all I have to do is put an 18in barrel on it. Or a slug barrel or a long barrel or a mod barrel. Interchangeable barrels means it will be whatever I want it to be without the gazillion dollar thing. Does them all real well too. For me anyways-870 fits me like a glove. But I love over/unders and sxs too and would have all to play with if I had the gazillion you know. Besides when it comes down to ultimate persuasion, nothing works like a nasty old 12ga.

Shotguns

I use a remington 870 marine mag, primarily for bear defence. It rains alot up here in NW BC and I like to salmon fish, (thus lots of bear!) so it was a good match for me right out of the box. (Thinking about putting on a set of ghost ring sights though! ) I can drag it through the brush and mud and not worry too much about it beyond a basic cleaning at the end of the day. Cheers,

Guy
