I watch for sales on new guns and found a sale at bass pro for the 870 ,express last year it came to 289$ with a 25$ rebate 28 inch barrel with a mod choke tube and laminate stock not plastic it has run perfect for one whole hunting season from many gooses and duck hunts spring turkey and a deer hunting week ,so some times you are better off buying new as guys list used 870 express for 400$ plus ,,I guess thy figure the price goes up once thy give the gun some experience ,,lol shop around and handle a few shotguns and find one that fits you in your price range Dutch

This is a fantastic deal that I haven't seen anywhere else.
You certainly won't see it at big box stores, these kind of deals you only see at small LGS's.
