Shotshell Carrier 4 Benelli Supernova?

Hi,

I have been looking around for a shell carrier for my new Benelli Supernova Tactical 14". I have not come up with much, the only thing I could find is the one made by Mesa Tactical but it comes with a Picatinny rail attached and my shotgun already has a pictatinny rail so that will not work.

I was even looking at some of the velcro detachable models but I can't find one of those which will fit either.

Also if you know of any other good accessories for this shotgun feel free to post them.

I have a 4-round side saddle on my Nova. It mounts by two long threaded screws that replace the action pins, making it possible to return the Nova to its stock configuration. I also have a +2 extention.

Both are made my TacStar (part of Lyman I think). Neither were horribly expensive compared to other offerings out there, but neither are top-of-the line. Check tacticalshotgunner and ebay.

You can replace the stock picatinny with the mesa tactical one.

Does the mesa just mount using the old picatinny wholes?

Yes they do, I have one installed on mine. It comes with everything you need, very easy to replace the stock rail.

+2, I bought both the 6 and 4, the 6 is abit long for the receiver, the 4 is perfect and best of all, the light weight of the elastic carriers will not throw off the balance of your shotgun.

mesa tactical.Many are going the velcro route as they are cheap and easy to replace when they wear out.

We are going back to our original design that we started with, thus making the OAL about 3/4 of an inch shorter.
This design will allso make the finished product simpler and possibly a little cheaper, which of course we will pass on to our dealers.
