Shotshell hulls?

I've had a hard time finding hulls in Winnipeg. The only place I've seen is whole sale sports, they have wads and steel shot. You might have to buy a box of shells and shoot them if you need some specific type of hull.
 
If you guys are looking for Hulls there are a couple of sporting clay places here in Alberta throwing out hundreds of thousands a year of Wincheter AA becuase there is not demand. I would bet the same is true in Manitoba. Check with your local skeet, trap or sporting clays club.
 
I'm in Ontario and I just put an add on the bulletin board at the range that said "WANTED-OLD AA HULLS". My buddy I was with laughed at me and said "no one that has any will part with them you idiot". so he laughed and made fun of me the whole way home. I now have about 3000 and got them all for less than 5 cents a piece and won't give a single one to my buddy. HA! People prefer the remington hull of any kind over the AA hulls old or new. I like the rem hulls better too as they are much smother through the loader. Nobody will part with the rem hulls for less than 10 cents a piece.
 
If there is emough interest I would be willing to get the hulls from the club and ship them to whoever wants them, but due to the bulk, I would think the shipping would be high unless you were getting a few thousand at a time. Clay target box should hold ballpark 5 or 600 hulls. If sopmeone has the measuremnts on a standard clay box it would be easy enough to price on Canada Post. At $20 for 500 works out to 4 cents each for shipping.

Where are you located?
 
Calgary Alberta.

I checked, using a box 18x18x6 at 15 LBS, between Canada Post, Greyhound and UPS, CP is far and away the cheapest at $21. If an empty clay box is bigger then of course the price would be higher.

Anyone on here have a box of clay pigeons they can measure for dimensions?
 
Sorry for the confusion, was just exploring a thought. (The club shoots mostly Winchester AA). Sorry to all wjho were confused by this post, I was trying to figure out if it was even economically feasable to do this. Until we had the actual size of an empty box of clays, a count of how many it actually would hold and what it would weigh, I don't even know what the shiiping costs would be. Add to that the cost get and package them (which shouldn't be too high) and a guy could tell whether this would make sense but at this stage it is just guessing and speculation.
