shotty ammo?

what type of Shotgun shells are you looking for?

7.5 & 8 can be found $6.50+ /25

#2-6 is more expensive and varies a lot especially if steel

Slugs can be found in packs of 5-25 generally and are about $1 each+

If prices are in that range then your getting a good buy. If you are buying in 1000+ rounds which is a lot of shotgun rounds you could contact a store directly for a price

Lots of places have it available at decent prices, A few of the sponsors here carry it, and usually have it on sale. Ive picked some up recently at Sail, that had a good sale on.

You cannot beat the cost of promo ammo from Cabela's or the like, if you have to pay shipping. Shipping ammo is expensive in Canada.
Despite what is said by poster above, four flats of shotshells (1000 rounds) is a trivial amount and you cannot expect a significant discount on that amount.
You can get a good price on shotshells if you are buying pallet lots from Challenger or Score. Many clubs do so, setting up a bulk order, as a service to their members. Challenger or Score offer good prices because they are competitively priced in Canadian Dollars.
US manufactured Promo ammunition priced in US dollars cannot come in at less than $65-$70 a flat plus taxes - check out what our puny Canadian dollar is worth these days. Needless to say, quality competition ammunition costs more. We do not have the deep discounters or Walmart prices for ammo in Canada, but our prices are pretty good, when you shop the best sales and stock up.

Im waiting for Challenger to go on sale again. It does every few months at Cabelas. Best price is $6 a box and regularly see $6.49 a box. Best value Target 12g in my opinion. I just stock up when it does and theres some room in my ammo safe for some.

Rangeview has estate ammo on for a good price now and then. They had a really good deal a while back 49.99 for 200rds no tax....if you are not in a rush to stock up on any calibre buy only what you need and patience sometimes pays off with a great deal. 7.5 anything below $7 is a good buy so long as 8t works well for you in your firearm.....

Biggest mistake you can make though is buy ammo purely based on price make sure the ammo works well before you buy a lot of any type of ammo or accept that cheap stuff is there for when guests come

I haven't seen $6/box for a long time, even 6.49 is less than most clubs pay for ammo before retailing it!

Challenger has been on sale for $6.99 plus taxes several times this year at Cabela's but only the 1 ounce high velocity, which kicks as much as 1 1/8 ounce Federal at about 1150 fps.
