What are you talking about? I haven't had an NEA come back in months...that I am aware of.
What about Dweenz's AR?

I dont own NEA products, but I was in your shoes, I was very interested in buying a homegrown product and supporting Canadian industry so when I started hearing about their problems and I dont mean politics I took my time to follow a lot of what was being said.
I concluded that NEA was hit or miss, eg: items they were sourcing were not always consistent. So although I believe they are quite capable of producing a solid product I just simply didnt feel like taking a risk with my hard earned $$ and decided to spend it on an American product. I thought it was kinda of sad because I really excited about the prospect of having a "Made in Canada" AR.
Maybe in a few years when NEA has left their issues behind they will be worth a 2nd glance from me.
What about Dweenz's AR?
We have DD's, Windhams and an NEA lower/DD upper gun available. 12.5" guns should be in stock for immediate purchase shortly. I have 7 more people to offer them to before I release them from preorder.
I love my NEA. Had to take it in once for what sounded like a very one off type issue, but the warranty work was performed by my LGS with no fuss or muss.

who makes those 12.5 inch guns?
That was 3 months ago.
Hahahaha!The topic of this thread:
Should I buy a NEA AR? Or an alternative title: .... Should I go bareback with a $5 hooker? Either way you take your chances.
Which is what they said , andSo it meets the criteria of "months" then doesn't it?
Dweenz AR was from way before that.
So six guns go out and 4 come back because they don't work. Is that a good sales week?
I was looking at buying an AR for a while and I came across the NEA's. I did some research on them by reading the forums and other reviews that were done by other websites and for the most part I found them all positive so i bought one. I got the 10.5" version and I took it to the range a few weeks ago. I’ve only put 80 rounds through it, steel case zinc plated, and it didn’t fail once. I realize that to break a gun in that I have to put a lot more through it but for right out of the box it worked well, and all I’m very happy with my purchase. I know they had some QC problems a while ago and when I spoke to the local dealer about them they said they were fixing the issues and it appears they have. Or at least on the one O have lol.
All and all I’m happy with the gun. The finish i think is nice and so far so good on it not failing in the ways I’ve read about that can happen. Sure are there are better AR's out there but I think at the price point of NEA, and the functioning of it, it's a pretty gun for the value.
I’m sure there will be others that disagree with me but it’s my opinion so![]()

You claimed:
Perhaps you should go back an read your posts because you are getting confused as to what you are arguing about.
Nope not confused at all. I am still arguing that NEA makes crap AR's.
How odd; A new member signs up and his second post is to defend NEA. It seems like deja vu somehow. So how long have you been associated with NEA Kernal001?.
Nope not confused at all. I am still arguing that NEA makes crap AR's.
You claim 75% are being returned and the guy actually selling is telling you he hasn't had one returned in well over 3 months.
Seems you are out of touch with the current situation, no matter how bad they were at a previous time .
Personally I'd wait for another year to see how consistent they are now that t hey have had help for quality.
