Long answer:

The answer on this site is always yes you should buy it. Until you have too much credit card dept...

Then yes you did the right thing by selling those rifles to get your accounts balanced.

Short answer:

Buy it before your #### falls off.

Thank you with Thread edit help.

but whats the point if the rifle may get prohibited? I dont have money to throw around .

The way I see it is any and all semi automatic rifles currently classified as non restricted are on the rcmp's to be banned list, including the ones with wood stocks.

What's the point of driving you may get hit by a semi, don't get on a plane it may crash, don't go on a bridge it may collapse

yahhhh ok, but you can bet prohibiting rifles that were originally classified as non restricted has a much much much much higher probability, given empiric data.

I get attached to my guns like they are part of my soul. departing from them would devastate me. I want this gun so bad, but its investment I cant just go and buy then loose it to some stupid political decisions.

What i want cost over 2000$ ( gun, ammo, scope, mags etc) and I saved money so diligently.

If you want the rifle then buy it. Yeah there is a chance that it may become prohibited. IMO the more guns we have the better off our chances of getting to keep them are.

Buy the gun, and take some unlikely people out target practicing for an afternoon. Its not the Beretta CX4 that they want to ban, its every last gun. The anti gun fanatics will always pick on the weakest link.

You've already decided...so why ask? It sounds like buying it will just cause you to obsess and worry about it constantly, so what's the point?

Just to throw some gasoline on this smoldering mess, I'll add that the CX4 is the slickest, coolest, best-handling and -shooting PCC I've ever seen or handled. I've owned a CX4 and a JR carbine, and had playtime with a KelTec and a Marlin Camp Carbine (in the states). None of the others came close for me.

Check the Cx4 thread for pictures, see what you can do with it. Here's mine:
