Neat.

The answer to a question nobody asked....

Amazing machining and design cannot make up for complete lack of any reasonable application.

If your going to hunt big game........be able to handle the BIG GUNS involved.

What caliber is this rifle? Bore diameter and breech size does not impress me.

EDIT looked it up. What a waaste.

Right side is a .375 H&H.

I think you guys are being a bit prejudiced. At least I'd be curious about how the designs work. These are prototypical efforts that feed two barrels at once.

Sure looks nice, but it would weigh a ton. I guess if you could afford one, you could afford the assistant to carry it for you. Imagine the firepower you could throw down with that sucker, though! It's probably got 10 rounds or more of .375 ready to go! Even in a monster cartridge like the .505 Gibbs, you'd still have 6 or even 8 rounds before you'd have to reload. Of course, you would have no shoulder left to speak of...

Well, the weight would go a long way to taming the recoil. My concerns would be about complexity: how simple and reliable are the guns?

I handled a couple of these guns about 5 years ago in Vegas at a gunshow and they handle good. The gun was designed by a Canadian also

Seriously a twisted idea. Neat though.

Quick question... is there any reason you couldn't make a semi-auto in a large calibre... I think that would accomplish the same goal...

Depends what you mean by "large", but there is the Alexander Arms .50 Beowulf on an AR platform, which more or less amounts to a semi-auto 45-70. (Various bullet weights, the heaviest being a 400 gr. bullet at about 1850 fps. Google Wikipedia article.)

Dude. Buy it. It's cool and innovative. It's the breath of fresh air that the firearms industry needs.

Nah, nevermind. I couldn't do it with a straight face...

Buy several. Spending disposable income contributes to our country's economic growth. It may not do much for your personal economic growth though.

I cannot count the number of times that guys I know were charged by 4 elephants simultaneously. A regular double rifle is only good when 2 elephants charge. But THIS! Now this can save some real lives......... I am going to put a WTB on the EE forum.

I'm looking forward to your range report.

"With my first shot, I blew an MOA-sized hole though the target. And the post it was on. And the back of the range. Sweet."
