Should I get a double-barrel bolt action repeating rifle?

Seriously a twisted idea. Neat though.

Quick question... is there any reason you couldn't make a semi-auto in a large calibre... I think that would accomplish the same goal...

I know for certain that the Browning BAR has been done to both 358 Norma and 458 Winchester.

Took a bit to get the 458 to feed reliably, but got there. :)

Are you nuts? A double rifle operated by an old-fashioned bolt? Bah!!!

Go to the Blaser website and feast your eyes on the STRAIGHT-PULL bolt action double rifle. That's what you really need!

The over-under rifle looks kinda neat. It serves a great purpose as a curiosity to show off at a hunting camp or gun club. I like it.

Good for that quick second shot on dangerous game especially and Elmer would be proud:p. If nothing else, it or the concept definately serves to stir the pot of opinion:). As different as it is, I'd like to see it, try it and have a gun bearer to pack it for me in the field.

There was a great article in an old Gun Digest about a Canadian gunsmith who was making multi-barrel bolt guns. Amazing pieces of work.

That's awesome! I love new ideas. You guys make fun but I'm sure someone out there made fun of the guy that decided to invent smokeless powder and the first brass casing.

Nothing new... There are a few videos of them in action out there. I posted one a few years back. I'd love one just for the sake of the novelty.
