Should I have any concerns about a 3rd gen Glock?

Something about the chambers not being fully supported.
I believe they've mostly fixed this in gen 4s but as I said earlier gens had more of a problem.
This only occurs infrequently with heavier charges.

...no. In that thread the failure occurred because of what most of us suspect was an over charge. The same bullet would have kaboomed in a 1911, the path for the gas to escape would have likely been the same (down through the mag).
