Not worth it... the $$$ you would get...it doesnt make sense. Keep it! Its a great gun to introduce noobs to the fantasic sport of shooting with too!

Maybe It's just my twisted logic, but I always find the decision to sell comes down to just one simple fact. What am I gonna buy to replace it, and how much longer am I going to make myself suffer waiting without it!

If I don't need the cash for a new love, it stays in the safe!

Rule #2 - Don't buy junk, buy quality first and give it to your grandchildren when you're too old to enjoy it.

If you don't like it, there's no reason really to keep it... You should just sell it.

Myself, I cannot even imagine a world without 22lr  I like to shoot, a lot. If all my range time was spent with center-fire stuff I probably couldn't afford anything else then a SKS and I would probably only get to the range once a month. I find it much easier to justify spending $$$ on another 22lr rifle then on another 308.

But that's just me... and I've been known to do silly things.
Mike.

That one kinda makes me think I should sell it and get a bolt action.

That's what I did and it really does help my center-fire shooting. However, I will likely get another 10/22 at some time because they are just plain FUN.

:D

it seems the general consensus is keep it...and since I should have some Ralph bucks coming in since I was living in AB up until Sept....I guess I will...

Dustin,
Why don't you use it, is it because it is inaccurate and has a crappy trigger? I use to hate mine as well, compared to my Anschutz and Sako it just didn't shoot. I don't expect a rifle that sells for a couple hundred to keep up to thousand dollar rifles. With that said I changed out the stock to a hogue and put a Volquartsen carbon fiber barrell on, had the trigger tuned and an overtravel screw put in the triggergaurd. It is now my favourite rimfire this gun has turned in .25 inch groups at 50 yds, flukes maybe, but it will run right beside my other two mentioned .22s, and so fast you just mow gophers instead of pick them. Good luck with your choice, but I would take Ralphies 400 and put it towards improving your 10/22.
