the way I see it is right now I have the money invested in the SIG, yes I won't get 100% of the cash back, but I also have money in the bank that I don't use (sure I'm getting a couple % in interest) but technically they are also collecting dust.A firearm that isn't being used is a wasted investment. Not using a firearm is no different than not owning it, with the exception of having shelled out some coin for one that collects dust as opposed to one you never had.
What I was getting onto before is that if you buy say a $1000 gun, than when you sell it you only get $800 or so for it, then buy another gun for $800 later sell it for $650, decide to buy something else later and sell it for 500, than if you sell it, you only have anought cash to buy a Norinco
