should my remington 11 87 jam every 2nd or third shot?

Last time I checked cabelas they listed a mossberg 930 in black with two barrels for 599.I would buy that in a heart beat if someone will take my mossberg 535 slug gun.
After checking around a bit you can pick up Mossberg 930 for anywhere between
$499-$850
I was a bit high sorry about that ......check cabelas.ca or WSS
prices vary depends on camo-no-camo, 28"-24" etc...

I bought a remingtom 11 87 and paid around $1000. all it does is jam up ,wont eject.......im done, I like the look and style of the shotgun but as far as quality goes and being reliable... NO WAY!... i will never touch a remington again

I Bought a Browning Auto 5 ( in 1989) and this shotgun has never failed me its worked perfectly every time.I also bought a browning BLR 22 its around 18 years old and it works like a charm, Now Im looking at buying a 20 gage BPS and a 12 gage BPS.......makes a nice set

Keep up the fine work Browning

I bought one new with a box of Federal target loads and headed to the skeet club. It jammed constantly with those shells. I then only used heavier loads without a problem.

Now it will shoot any shell without jamming.

Almost like it needed to be broken in?

The one and only 11-87 I have used is a close friend's I have borrowed used, maintaned for years. It has let me down more often than not.It would jam closed, with a live round in it,only way to open it was to fire it.it also would jam open, and is there ever a good time for a jamming POS?From disassembly to reassembly sucked for me in comparison to an 870.Just not an easy gun to field strip, every thing a struggle. It has left me gunless on a goose shoot, and frustrated working on it. What a heap.Too bad it is so nice to shoot when it does work (rare) .....
