Should Southern Ontario hunters stay out of Northern Ontario

I don't see how where I live would even come up. My truck doesn't wear any dealership badges, and when I roam through Ontario who is going to know where I live?

When I went up to Cochrane and Smooth Rock Falls this past summer to hike into New Post Falls, the only people along the route who could have possibly known where I lived were the motel staff, and almost all of them were East Indian and couldn't give a #### where I was coming from.

Where I hunt isn't very far North anyway... I'm usually in Parry Sound District.

Your naïve and unaware of your surroundings if you think the folks in Cochrane and Smooth Rock Falls did not peg you as from Southern Ont. The way you look, act, and speak gave you away instantly. Not that they give a sh!t. But don't think for one millisecond you weren't pegged from the get go.

What folks? It's not like I went and hung out at the Legion or anything. I don't remember talking to anyone who lived in those places except for the East Indian clerk at the motel or the Sikh counter staff at the A&W in Cochrane.

I did offer a beer to the guy who stayed beside us in the motel, and he was from Elliot Lake area. I talked with him about the trails in his area as I used to live in North Bay, and worked for the MTO out of there that had me visiting sites and offices in Timmins, SR Falls, Cochrane, Kirkland Lake, and all over the area. I don't think he suspected I was now living in the city since I don't look or talk at all like a city boy (since I'm not).
