I did a search and didn't come up with what I was after.
Does anyone have any suggestions towards a shoulder holster. It will be for revolvers about the size of a single six. I have suspicions that a shoulder holster would flop around a bit. Are there any that are designed to address this?

Thanks for any insight

If you loop this one through your belt it doesn't flop too much...

Joe will make anything you want and the quality is excellent. Also, be aware that many ranges frown on shoulder holsters because of the inherent sweeping of the line and behind you as you draw.

I got it from ....[hotlink removed]........

It's for a 4 inch 38 revolver but it works well with my 4 5/8 colt new frontier.

You can get the tanker style made for different barrel lengths from a holster company like El Passo Saddelry etc.

I don't think sweeping to the rear is too much of a problem with a vertical style shoulder holster.

Milt Sparks makes a rig that would fit your application. It isn't on the website, but they make it.

Simply Rugged makes several.

Depends on whether you plan to wear it a lot or occassionally. Once and awhile to stumble through the toolies with, I would go Uncle Mikes, does the job and inexpensive, and if it's adjusted right, it shouldn't flop around. On the other hand, if it's going to be part of your attire for what ever reason, go nuts, tons of makers out there.

X 2 on this holster. I just made one for mine. Not as nice as this one by any means though.
Designed to do things while wearing the handgun; e.i. driving or operating machinery.
I read an article written by a fella that loved his for bear protection while fishing( obviously an US citizen though ).
