shoulder stocks for modern pistols

Numrich Gun Parts sells one for the COLT1911 and clones, Mainspring housing , stock and long barrel as required in the U.S., we only need the mainspring housing and the stock. There was also a stock for one of the large HK pistols but it also converted the pistol to fullauto.

Has anyone found that the shoulder stock does anything good? I don't find it improves accuracy. What was the original purpose?

With no increase in sight radius and berel lenght, I would guess they exist mainly for novelty.

in the states they combine them with a 16" barrel and get a carbine

the first point of them was for full auto pistols

They are often for Israeli citizens to have a quick carbine. Think about who makes these parts.
