A lot of people post about bad experiences with vendors, but it's also important to give credit where credit is due.

I bought a new x-bolt micro midas in .243 from a cgn sponsor on black Friday. The stock had a spot maybe the size of a dime rubbed through, presumably from being on display. I was told to deal with Browning directly. I got through to someone at browning in Montreal really quickly. They offered to replace the stock with almost no questions asked. They offered me the choice of replacement stock since the model was discontinued. They sent me a prepaid label to ship out the entire rifle and replaced the stock with one from the new micro composite stalker, which I wanted for this rifle more than a wood stock.

I also applied for the 100$ mail in rebate on Dec 15 and had the physical cheque in my mailbox early this week. That's pretty impressive for a mail-in rebate. With the rebate it ended up being 650$ all-in. At 6lb2oz It should make for a handy little deer rifle. Now that the stock is no longer pink I might just keep it for myself.

The Browning employee I talked to also said the duratouch stocks are warrantied in perpetuity, so if you have one that's gummy, reach out and they'll replace it free of charge.
