Shout out to FRATRI.....

Yeah Ive been watching crows and magpies since Ive started the calling game. They helped me out many times.

Im a all day hunter. I dont like to go out unless I can hunt all day. I only have to drive about a half hour to my spots though.

Congrats on the coyote.

I think using the hand calls with the e caller really spikes the coyote curiousity. He hears the distress in one spot, Then its in a different spot shortly after. Hand calls give so much more emotion too compaired to the looped e-caller sound. It really brings them out for a shot.

I know I have always had more success using both. I will howl back and forth to my foxpro with my hand howlers. I have had many hard chargers come flying out looking for the intruder coyote in their territory.

You guys are starting to bring on the itch, I gotta get out there. :D

Mine are all carver predator calls....

From left to right, African blackwood and resin rabbit distress, cocobola coaxer, Box elder burl "big dog howler"....

Sorry not meaning to hijack but Brad how was the shipping charges to Ont From carver. They look like super nice calls and prices seem reasonable. But how's the shipping to Canada Handled?

Since we are kind of on the topic of hand calls right now, I have to ask.

Ive had the Strictly Business set for a year or two and have never once taken out the big howler that comes with the set. My thinking is that it might sound like bigger more aggressive male coyote and so nothing really wants to come in to check out whats howling. Am I on drugs to think that? heh Ive never compared the two to even see if they sounds different, just assumed that the bigger one sounded a bit bigger/deeper compared to a smaller one when blowing on the same part of the reed.

I use the big howler all the time.....
I usually start off with 2 loud howls then go silent for 2 minutes before screaming out dying rabbit sounds on and off for the next 30 minutes or so. Not sure if it helps or hurts me but this is what I usually do.

In all the times I have been calling I probably have only gotten 2 maybe 3 coyote howl backs... It seems the coyotes I am hunting are very quiet most of the time. Maybe more curious then aggressive? But like I said, this is what I usually do but not written in stone.

I can't tell you all how good these calls are until you receive them...

What I can tell you is that you have now dealt with a really great guy and someone who has great personal values and wants you to have success with his calls...

I got that feeling. I felt good about handing Kerry my money.... Much better than buying from any of the big guys

I use the big howler with the strickly business set as well. More than the other two. I will use the large then the middle one to respond. I can do higher pitch howls on the bigger howler, All depends on how much of the reed you use. I can do the best barks with the large howler, Thats probably why I use it the most.
