I don't know if they're a site sponsor here, but Marshal at Matrix Ballistics is great to deal with. I wanted some 150 gr hunting bullets in .277 diameter. I called on a Tuesday afternoon, and asked him about them. He said that he didn't have any in stock, but will get them made and to email him a list of what I wanted and my address. The bullets were in the post office for me to pick up that same week on Friday morning, and I'm a province away. He even included a sampling of another bullet I had expressed interest in, but wondered if they would stabilize in my gun at no charge.

If you're needing bullets for reloading, give Marshal a call or an email.

Now for me to get some loaded, and get out and try these bad boys...

This might be the push I need to pick some up from him. Very curious about the .277 165 gr. VLD to play around with but wouldn't mind giving the 150 gr. RBT a try next hunting season.

Has anyone taken game with the 150? A word on performance would be interesting.

Got some of these bullets a while ago, 30cal 194's for my 300. Tried 4 different charges of IMR-7828 seated to just short of mag length in my T-3. Groups started out just at inch and finished up as pic shows. Same point of impact as my 180 accubond load at 100M. 194 grain bullet at over 2900, could play with seating depth but probably just take them hunting.

Hrmmmm... Might have to look into these more for my 270. I've heard of them before, but I just checked out their site, and if they are top-quality bullets for that sorta price I'd but silly not to try 'em!

IMHO opinion they are like a best kept secret, that shouldn't be kept! I wish more people knew about them and used them, he is Canadian after all, and produces a top shelf product. It wasn't until I had heard of them that I had tried a rebated boat tail bullet, now I'm hooked!

Marshal told me that the FB bullets were better for hunting. Or i would have bought RBT bullets. He gave me a few 165 to see if they stabilize in my gun. I also bought some 147 gr hpbt to try. It's supposed to be the ideal weight in that gun. Almost identical SD as a 6.5 140 gr. He told me that these shoot tiny groups in his gun at 500 yards.
