Show and Tell: My Fabarm Done Up

I replaced (by necessity; it shipped with one screw!) my bottom rail's slot screws with hex bolts. I took the one I had to Can-tire, found a nut that fit the threads, then used that to find the appropriate hex bolt. Plus it looks more bad ass. (in there with blue loc-tite!)

I also bought magpul ladder rail protectors, for comfort, looks and to protect my soft case I carry it in.

One rail cover cut in half worked out for me.

The rail ladder looks pretty slick!

I should probably locktite a few ofthe different adapters on mine to be honest.

Off topic question more suited to b&g rifles: When I installed my magpul stock and buffer tube I bought a castle nut and plate. But the plate hung down over the edge of the adapter, making a lip that would bite the knuckle of my thumb. I've since pulled it off, and shot the gun with just the castle nut on there.

Is that okay? I understand almost every AR has the plate, but have no idea what it actually does. I seem to be getting by just fine without it.

Nice rig!

Great tac rig! I wish I'd known about the 870 to AR converter. I have the 870 converter with the Knox on my SAT8 but the possibilities with AR parts are endless.

Yup! I looked at a few different shotgun specific stocks, but the AR converter I got from SFRC was a great purchase. Picked it up during their fathers day sale, and I don't think it cost me more than $100 to get to my door.
