Did your MKii come with the Boyds stock or did you buy it separately? If so, was it expensive to bring it in?

Cabelas sells this. I bought one and it is a tack driver with just about any ammo put through it.
Great gun. Replaced the scope of course with a Nikon 4 x 16 x 40.

How do you get a cheek weld with the scope that far back? I feel like I'd have to do some serious contortion to not be up against the glass.

How do you get a cheek weld with the scope that far back? I feel like I'd have to do some serious contortion to not be up against the glass.

A shooting buddy of mine wears glasses and has his eye relief set so short I have to pull my head back uncomfortably to shoot his rifles. Given the huge eye relief of my DMR2 I'd have to assume that is the case here.

Considering Span09 came in 2nd with that rig at the SAPRL22 match I would say he has things set up to be working for him.

Looks to be not a lot of real estate on that rail anyways.

I'm short haha. I flipped the cheek riser the other way and extended the length of pull. It's not ideal but it works fine for now. The scope in that mount cannot go any farther forward without notching out the hand guard though.

I took the plunge and bought an MDT LSS-22 chassis for my Savage MarkII. I also picked up the V5 skeleton stock. I'm excited to see how it all comes together. I'll post some pics. Thanks for all the great comments and pics you guys posted.
