Show me your 20 inch barrelled bolt actions!

Its not 20" but I look for any excuse to show off my pride and joy.
30" SS Krieger, 1.25 straight taper with flutes.
The barrel was the last thing I bought in the build, I had the flutes put in at the end to bring the weight down.
The gun and Joy-Pod are approx. 42 grams below the F T/R weight restriction of 8.25 Kilograms.

Its certainly not an ideal off hand shooting rifle!

someone is really proud of the medal and that is great.

My old 20" 6.5CM in my new stock for the deer season. 6.2 lb without scope. She will have a 24" sister in 300wm with proof carbon barrel that I sprayed yesterday.

First an SPS Tactical in .223 with 20" barrel, B&C stock, Triggertech Special, Strike Eagle in MDT hardware, PR Precision bolt knob, SA cartridge holder:

I'm considering a switch to a KRG Bravo and AICS mags on this one. As it's racking up a round count now, I'm not sure it'll stay 20" when it gets rebarrelled.

Second is an SPS Youth 20" in .243 that's been relocated into a Grayboe Outlander. Also packing a Triggertech trigger (Primary), nice little hunting rifle.

My Ruger mark II varmint I had some fun with. Cut barrel to 20”, added detachable bottom metal, painted stock.

This T3 has served me very well over the years. Going hunting? Swap for the OEM stock. Shooting to 800? KRG works great. Great all-round glass for my purposes. To do it all over I’d be really tempted to try a Sig Cross or the new CZ.

Im pic challeneged sorry....but my experience is that anything heqvier profile than rem varmint is unbalanced in 20in rifles ...hamdles like holding out a small sledgehammer

Rem varmint profile 20in look and hamdle well IMO....#5 aftermarket profile also similar up to 22in

20in also seems ideal field length regarless of profule if runnin a muzzle device too

20" TRG 22 in 308. Black stock with blued action/barre. 1:11 twist. Recent rifle purchase, so just finished adding the scope/rings and getting the bipod. Looking forward to shooting it!

Scope is an Arken EP5 5-25X with ARken medium rings. Muzzle brake is unknown as it came with the rifle. Sako TRG bipod. Rest of the rifle is completely stock.

DTA with 22" 308 barrel in foreground and 20" 5R Remington Milspec in the background.

DTA has a Harris Harris Bipod S-BRMP with Mlok conversion. Rings are NF (1.46") but have been changed to an ARC clone mount at 1.5" height. Scope is NF 5-22 NXS. Barrel is 22" Walther Lother DTA barrel and muzzle brake is unknown. It came with the rifle and works well, plus I like the looks so I kept it.

5R is a 20" Anniversary edition with threaded end. Brakeout 2.0 muzzle device. MPA hybrid folding stock in burnt bronze. MPA Quick release barricade stop/hand brace. Has a MDT single pull Ckye bipod on the MPA ARCA rail. Scope is a Vortex (usually avoid these) which came with another rifle. Gen2 Vortex PST, SFP and 3-15 I think. Would have to double check. Rings are either Warne or Zeiss quick release. Again came with the scope.

20" Benchmark med palma barrel on a Rem 700 done by Insite Arms. Barrel started life as a 26" match barrel but got chopped a few years ago and pressed into hunting use. Vortex Razor LHT 4.5-22 in a Spuhr hunting unimount, MDT HNT 26 folding chassis and lightweight double-pull Ckyepod. 11.5lbs with the bipod.

20" Remington 700. I bought it second hand and suspect it's another Remington 5R milspec with green cerekote. The bolt is showing jewelling under the cerekote wear areas consistent with a 5R action. McMillian A5 stock (older saddle cheek rest version) with Badger bottom metal. McCann Industries MIRS Integrated Rail System Mount. This mount is covering the marking so I can't verify if it's a 5R or not. Plus the Cerekote is thick. Harris Bipod S-BRMP. Insite ARms muzzle break. Rings are ARC ( American Rifle Company). Scope is a Burris XTR II 5-25X 50mm FFP.

Nice rig! I've always had a fondness for A5s!
