Just got a 3D printer, already having lots of fun printing various tools to help loading, clips and organizers, shell trays, etc. Im curious what others with a 3D printer are finding useful in the reloading room, show me what you've got!

Has anyone thought about 3D-printing up a little widget to fit in and fill the gap between the ram and the base of the Lee Partner Press, to guide the primers right into the hole that they're supposed to go into?

This item would make my Xmas season - inevitably 1 in 5 primers catches an edge and goes flying off somewhere where it's hard to find...

Something like that?

This seems to be the site for the 3d printers. Search for RCBS, Dillon, dies, pegboard... Lot of stuff!

Ive left the primer ram in to stop them from flying out, but that looks like a much better solution, thanks!

didn't cost a lot, I think parts and materials are around $100 on the first one, subsequent ones should cost about $75

Latest project, making parts to upgrade my CZ EVO S1

I have a Geeetech prusa i3. I bought it as it's an aluminum frame, I can upgrade the rest over time. Proper lead screws etc. I just got rid of the stock board and am now running an arduino with the newest marlin firmware. Can do so much more, and runs much better.

I have two useful items. On the left is a blank powder measure bar for a Lee Loader, for those times when the factory disc holes are too big or small. On the right is a solid block I use to lay the slide down from my CZ Shadow 2, so that I can punch the rear sight in the dovetail without the slide flying all over the place. Not sure who came up with the idea of a beveled slide.

I bought a Monoprice Maker Select Plus almost a year ago. There was a $100 off code at the time so shipped to my door it cost me $402 CAD. It came with everything I needed to get started. I buy PLA from 3D Printing Canada which is 15 mins from my house in Hamilton, ON for $16-40 per kilo depending on the quality of it. A kilogram of PLA is just over 100m in length. You can download the software to slice a 3d print job and it will tell you how many meters of PLA it will take to print the object. You can base your budget roughly on that. If you get a printer it will take several attempts to find the sweet spot in terms of temperature/speed combos for your particular printer. On mine, the one mentioned above I run 70f on the bed, 190f on the extruder and 130mm per second for the speed. These settings are for the value PLA bought at the place I mentioned in Hamilton.
