It's been a while and im wondering if you specially licence folks would show off yours here. All types. In would really like to see some FN C1's and C2's. Give a story of when you bought it too.

Not mine but like the ones I used to slug.

Oh, how about ANY pics of C1's and C2's?!? Been a LONG time since I've seen one, much less handled or shot one!

Damn...The years just rolled back.
I like my 305.but I'd swap her the wife and the dog, well maybe not the dog, for an old wood stock SLR. Long and skinny with a nasty bite, looks so much like the wife.
There is no justice in this world..One day maybe they will let us have em.

Gotta go now before the tears start.....

Lol!
I remember being all excited when we changed to the C8's, but I was young then. I really wish I had the licence to get an FN.

Ya, sure. I'm guessing not a lot of people have them anymore so if you have pics of one, go nuts. I'm having an old timer moment. Lol!

I remember them with fondness as well. Hated 'em, but loved 'em at the same time..

The one I had was the biggest POS known to man, I swear.. couldn't get 10 rounds off before it jammed... LOL

Mind you, that was with blank ammo, seemed to be OK with the ball ammo.

The one i used must have been its twin. Lol! I remember when we first had it on the range and I was so excited to shoot it. Remember this is the first time I'd held one and we just finished training on the C1 and the the Hightower. So I was excited to shoot this full auto! I could pull the trigger faster on the FN than that thing shot full auto! I was so disappointed. Later came the C2 and intro to the GPMG and the HMG. Those were obviously way better.

I remember for recce patrols we used to use the C2 mags on our C1's. The SMG was great but not in the winter and you had to make sure the mag lips were ok or it would dump all the rounds out. Ahhhh memories.......

Lol!
I remember that! Those Thermomold crap ass plastic mags we had for the C7's and 8's used to do that. I remember we were on a winter exercise and we were to load and make ready.(Allied Mobile Force training). I loaded up and slapped the mag and the lip broke and all my rounds shot out the open ejection port.
At that point I had a flashback of the SMG. Lol. Ah, great times.

The best way to shoot the C2 was to actully pull back on the bi-pod instead of pushing forward, than under hand hold on the rear stock, than on full auto and tap the trigger, which means to use the trigger finger and shoot single rounds and you could shoot faster than on semi and still be acurate, and it sounded and looked like one was going full auto.

Does anybody remember how they taught us to do burst fire? I was just discussing it with a buddy I was in with. They taught us to say "Son-of-a-#####" and let go for a perfect 3 round burst. I said it longer to rack out a 10 round burst! Lol! More like "Sssoonn-offff-aaaa-biiiittcchh!" Lol!

There where four different type extractor heads for the bolt of the FN rifles, but all i ever saw was tywo types, .One was for FNC1 only, another could be put in C1 and C22, and the last two where for the C2,, as fast fire could strip the edge of the extractor.
