Show me your front rests!

I've gotten word on the tentative schedule on the Mission 50 BR matches. The first one will be on April 4th, Saturday.

The rules will be in accordance with American Rimfire Association (you know, the max 2500 scores stuff?).

WOW the picture of the ford came with sound, I could here it rusting away in the distance.

Rishu, I hereby invite you to a 100 yard precision match to be held on Febuary 14th on a Vancouver Island rifle range in a secret location. If you can get your gun in your hands and sighted in prior to that date we can make arrangements to have you picked up at the ferry. Also as a added incentive I will lend you my Cowan rest for the day. After the club match I usually hang around and shoot some 50 meter USBR.

Dave, can't do it man, it's Valentine's Day... still trying to line up a date here! Priorities man! :D

Besides, my Krico's not here yet... :(

Some other time, definitely.

Second saturday of the month, every month of the year. minimal cost to shoot as well and you can join the likes of myself and my better half, cz452shooter as well as _shorty and a few other nuts on the firing line

mark your callendar and we can make arrangements to get you to the range, shoots start at ten sharp

Here is

my 53 lb rest that I just completed.:bangHead:

The bottom plate is 5/8 plate steel. The base is a Sinclair and the Joystick top a Shadetree.

Should be no movement of the gun on the table with this rig.:D

The only movement may be in my shorts hauling it around.

Got the rest yet Brian????

Next sunday we shoot the 100 yard precision and all the PQF and G members were asking me today if your going to come over and shoot for the day. We can spend the rest of the day shooting 50 meter unlimited.

I did get the rest, started using it the last two days. Still getting the hang of it. (Actually I think it's really useful for shooting my centrefires :D)

And sorry Dave, negative on Sunday. Got church. God comes before shooting :)

Perhaps you'd like to come over on April 4th to Mission for our 50BR shoot?

KDX; Looks OK but I doubt you would be able to use it in any sanctioned match, since most have rules that disallow any rest which have the front and rear supports connected in any way. I know our local 1000 yard match specifically vetos any such devices in competition. Might give one an idea how his hunting rifle really shoots though. Regards, Eagleye.
