Well I picked up my Knights Armament SR-15. All I can say is F**K Yeah!!!! This rifle rocks.

Let me show you my KAC

A little form the Knight's site

The Stoner Rifle 15 series are semi-automatic rifles featuring a 16" chrome chamber barrel, a URX free floating barrel system, an ambidextrous control system, a two-stage trigger, an improved multi-lug E3 bolt and integral front sight and sling mounts. This is already a comprehensive package on its own and does not require excessive modular accessories for performance enhancement. The KAC SR-15 is the first rifle model with an Integral Weapons System (IWS) that combines both built-in and modular features
  • 7 Integrated Sling Swivel Mounts: 5 at Front, 2 on the Rear
  • Integrated Rail Folding Front Sight
  • Ambidextrous Safety / Selector
  • Integrated "Picatinny Rail" Mid-Length URX Forend
  • Ambidextrous Bolt Catch
  • Removable Mid-Length Lower Rail
  • Ambidextrous Magazine Catch
  • Mid-Length (Battle Rifle) Gas Tube
  • Hammer Forged 1:7" Twist Chrome Lined & Bore Barrel
  • Gloved Finger Trigger Guard
  • SOCOM Type Sloping Cheekpiece Adjustable Length Stock
  • Two Stage Match-Trigger (4.5 lbs)

The Trigger is a 2 stage match trigger for a clean break every time. The trigger is set to 4.5 lbs according to my trigger gauge

Moving into the guts we can see the improved bolt design of the rounded locking lugs and the improved extractor with the dual springs all carried by a full auto bolt carrier

The Factory supplied Sights are awesome. The front sight is integral to the rail and full adjustable using a thumb wheel, No special tools or bullet tips required for this adjustment. The rear sight is a nice full circle rear aperture sights adjustable using the built in micrometer wheel

Talking about attention to detail there is even a drain hole in the buffer tube hidden by the LMT stock

I have yet to take it to the range but I am looking forward to breaking this girl’s cherry, as soon as I can sneak it out of the house past the wife.

Nice. The only thing holding me back from getting an SR-25 is the Restricted status. I want one to replace my 1000 yd bolt gun.

They all have that.

Nice stick. The trigger on mine was about #4.5 and I never got tired of the clean crisp break. Enjoy it.
