Show me your pistols with RDS!

on the topic of RMR on Glocks i just picked up a G40 MOS and was thinking about getting a RMR for it but i really like having the co-witlessness of the irons.

anyone know if we can get high flock sights up here in Canada 'easily'?

Yes you can most suppressor height sights will co witness

Casey at TacOrd installed suppressor sights which co-witness with my RMR on my G17. My Google-fu suggests it's a little harder to find suppressor sights for the 10mm Glocks...

Another vote for the FN FNX .45 with adjustable RMR - for when the situation warrants 230 grains of influence....

Well I'm going to be getting into Carry optics in uspsa (rule is unlimited mag capacity 140mm length). Ordered me up a vortex viper 6 moa, originally wanted a venom but in 6 moa which isn't out yet. And a dovetail mount from Springer precision all for under 270$ USD (including mount+sight).

Let's see your pistols with RDS mounted.

You better double check the magazine capacity rules. 10 rounds is the max for USPSA Carry Optics class. You can shoot open class with full cap mags though...

I have a CORE with Leupold Deltapoint mounted. A CORE has higher irons. They can be seen through the optic, unlike a MOS, which needs higher sights installed if the optic is not to be the only sighting option.
If the sight picture is shifted around, it is possible to see: only the dot; the irons and the dot; the irons. When the irons and dot are visible at the same time, it can be confirmed that the irons and the optic have the same zero.
I consider the irons to be backup sights, in the event of a failure of the optic. Otherwise, I am not interested in seeing them. The great advantage of the optic is that there is no sight alignment. Dot on target, and squeeze.
Incidentally, zeroing a Deltapoint mounted on a CORE is a pain. No wonder they replaced it with the Pro.

Family Photo - this is what your handgun collection starts to look like as your eyes age. I won't "pervert" any of my classic milsurps with new-fangled red-dots, just my modern shooters that see regular range time:

Very nice collection! I'm with you on the older pistols—I skipped ahead a few years in aging with my eye surgery but I'm leaving my classic 1970s Euro-nine pistols as is.
