Right on sounds good.
I see Brownells has the S&K mounts,I may have to get one for my m38..

Heres mine Trushot mount drilled and tapped ordered from HICAL, with a nikon prostaff 9X40. shoots quarter size groups at 100 yards with 2011 production norinco, id show you the target but we shot a shockwave before i took them down and we ended up destroying the plywood stand and paper targets (last pic)

Rock Solid mount, Bushnell fixed 10x. Now has cheekpad to fix chinweld.
Bedded, pillars, crowned, Timney trigger.

Shoots OK, hopefully this winter I can find some powder to find out what she likes. So far, not so much the RL-15...but I don't really know what to expect from a Mosin...and I don't have enough left to really play around too much. Anyone want to sell me IMR4350 or Varget to try? Haha...
Maybe knock the sights off and take the barrel back a couple of inches.
