I put a message in the S&J forum a couple weeks ago asking for details about their molecular coating process. Specifically, I was curious where the majority of the coating goes: I.e. coating the bolt alone, and not the rest of the bolt group seems superficial when the majority of friction is from the moving parts you don't see. And are the action bars done without the tube, or is the whole part coated? Not that there's anything wrong with doing the coating for aesthetic purposes, it looks sick.
Anyways, they never answered my questions, so I'm hoping someone who's had the service done can maybe share some pictures of their coated shotgun. I'd love to see what I'd be paying for.
