Okay the lock on my Samuel Nock Flintlock isn't as high quality as some locks that i have seen but is better then the average lock from Birmingham is that better

Well, I joined the wide-rib fraternity following a recent trade. A 14 gauge Birmingham-proofed gun with no maker's name. Is in remarkable condition and shot two rounds of 5-stand with it yesterday. Went boom every time except cracked a nipple. I see now in the photo that the replacement I had on hand is a little out of round.

Doesn't fit me very well so might end up on the EE.
