Show Off Your Pistol Caliber Carbines

Geologist if you are interested in a non stainless model there are two more where I purchased mine.

Not as nice as the one I choose but first come first serve I guess.

My Winchester 1873 in 357 mag/38 special. Super fun to shoot. And it's actually pretty accurate.

My build on this one using a Shilen barrel and Special Interest Arms kit supplied by a feller in Ontario who sadly is no longer in business. Cost to build, not including my labor at the time was about $850, but it's a fun little bugger to splat pests with.:)

Sweet setup! Closest we'll even see to a Delisle up here.

Sold them all eh, that's a bold statement either for the bolt action or against the lever. I am getting more into bolt guns but I just can't see myself selling off my levers!

I can't even truly count how many lever guns i've owned and sold (minimum 45 Marlins). They're fun, handy and practical. I like them...... but I've moved on, I just found they saw more range time than actual hunting use. When downsizing was required, they didn't stick around.

I would enjoy picking up another 35 Rem at some point (excellent cartridge)

But back on topic: (yeah, a bit long in the barrel for a "carbine")

It's actually the only type of hunting rifle I have never owned to be honest...... I see a 77/44 in my future...... Especially since I reload now......

Come on now Brad, not even a 30-30??

To be honest my 35 Rem is the only one that sees any hunting time.
