The .303's's that my friends have bought work great, and look great as well, I'm surprised we haven't seen any here as well.

Just makes sense classic English cartridge on a replica of classic English rifle.

We sold 237 of them and no issues. A few guys found their bores to be .313 or so but accuracy still great. Actually one guy had a .313 nd reported best accuracy with .308 bullets!!
I missed that 250, by the time I found it on the exchange it was sold.

I have a 450/400NE in a 1H. Also have one that is heavily modified into a Schuetzen rifle. 28" RKS heavy octagon, set up with a Redfield frt aperture sight and an AJ Parker rear peep, and a Canjar set trigger, chambered in 32-30 Rem. Both shoot quite nicely. Had a 22-250 1V years ago, killed plenty of gophers with it.
Apparently I can't post pics though.
Well I thought that I would reserrect an old thread. I purchased my first Ruger #1 about two months ago and finally got out to the range. I conducted load developmentby firing 21 rounds. Found that the gun just loves 76.5 grains of Reloder 25, 165 grain Nosler Ballistic tips, Federal 215M primers. Towards the end of the load development I started to suffer from flinchitis. Son of a gun, I have to have a decelerator pad installed because this baby kicks! It's just as punishable as my 300 Weatherby. Still going to the range to prove integrity of this load and that it wasen't just a fluke on my part.

Just snapped some pics of this older one I picked up locally, last summer.
It came from an estate. I topped 'er with a Leupold 6-18x40mmAO:
While it's my one & only thus far, I doubt that will last long.... Especially, if I keep looking at Prophet's ads....

NAA.
Picked this one up today in 300 H&H:

Not overly long for a 26" barrel. I really like it. I plan on using 200 grain Accubonds. Just a classy rifle in a classy cartridge.
I'm at a loss as to what scope to toss on it. I have a spare Nikon Buckmaster that will work for load development, but I'm thinking of saving for a Leica or S&B. I do like my Conquest though, may just go that route.
Oh and if anyone is looking for a RSI in .30-06 Prophet River has one with spectacular wood, for some reason it's not on their website or EE page though.
Here is one of Mine. Custom Stainless 45-70 16 twist .
