Nothing huge but a couple bucks shot within 5 min of each other and about 15 feet apart. Rutting bucks sometimes not to bright!

Got this one a couple days ago. and a grouse on the walk back to camp.
Well, I had some decent success with a tree stand in (now, due to drought) a dry hard wood swamp in the smiths falls area. Have taken deer in this area before, but boy was the traffic increased with the dry floor.
We are a camp of 8, and drew 1 doe tag. We give the owner of said tag the first 5 days to out a doe down, then it's fair game.
Well, I took this big 10pt on day 4. Then, on day 6, a big doe(by far the largest of 3 that came in range), and then took the small buck below on day 9. All three were 1 shot kills, double lung or lung and heart with no running after and essentially no meat damage. Was by far my best performance ever! Plus, these ended up being the only 3 deer we got, so I had some bragging rights at camp too!!

Got super lucky and tagged him a couple days after he showed up on the trail camera
By far my best buck (not bad for a waterfowl hunter)
Before anyone says anything yes he was tagged and at the kill site. Stupid Ontario tag got pulled off loading him, had to zip tie it on when we got done hanging him up.
