Glad you asked... The horror?? I wouldn't do this to a Canadian military rifle, but someone else did and I liked it enough to force myself to grab it...it's unique. Anyone ever seen another like it?
It's shootable, all tolerances are normal.

I saw a chromed #4 Enfield at Ellwood Epps about a year and a half ago.....

For a real collectable though, I'd want one of those chromed SKSs that you see Chinese honour guards using............!!!!!!!

I've got a 98 mauser done up like the enfield above. Whoever did the plating was a total idiot, when I bought the rifle I thougth the mag spring was weak. Turns out it was broken, they never bothered removing it when they chromed the floorplate assembly. Other then that the gun is very nice, good wood and pristine bore. Not my usual cup o tea, but the price was right
