Looking for new ideas, as I will be moving my setup to a different room

Been reloading for over 25 years, with ~300k over the years.

pistol 9mm, 38super, 357sig, 357mag, 40sw, 10mm, 45acp & 44mag
rifle 223, 308, 270, 30-06, 338

I'm curious, does anyone actually lock up their powder seperate from their primers? Or am I the only paranoid one that keeps all powder in a mtm ammo can padlocked, then the primers padlocked in another ammo case on opposite sides of my garage. Then all finished ammo is locked up in another ammo can in a locked walk in closet.

I don't keep my powder in an ammo can, as I'm worried it would turn it into a little bomb. There is a wood crate that I'll be making for mine, with a blow out panel at the back. I do keep the powder and primers seperate but not by a crazy stretch.

Built my own with 2x4 and plywood.

With shelves for components in bulk.


Gotta keep enough components to keep that beltfed happy, ya kno? Takes alot of brass and bullets to appease the 1919 gods. :beltfed:

The sidemount vice I have had for years and years. I believe I got it at Lee Valley Tools maybe 15 years back. They may still sell similar models if you check them out.

I built one for my small apartment out of 2x4s and 1 sheet of 1/2 inch 4x8FT plywood, with one locked cabinet for powder and components.
