Got this one last week, Webley VI .455 - sorry to get off the S&W line.
(and no I did not put the live rounds in the wheel for the last photo -brass only...)

Just fairly recently picked up a Mark VI myself, plus some Hornady 455 brass. I've mentioned it previously , I think anyone into handgun shooting, at some time in their shooting years should own a Webley. The holster and lanyard with yours is a nice touch.

Nice leather work, John Wayne 'special'. I've just purchased the same rig, but right handed, from Walt for my 5 1/2" old model Ruger Vaquero in 45LC.

And, also picked up a Lawman style holster for a recently acquired SS 4 5/8" Ruger Blackhawk, 45LC / 45 ACP convertable.

Colt Single Action Army

These are re-posts, too.:( These two haven't been fired. I also have a couple of shooters in the safe. I'll post shots of those when I have a chance to take some.

What a great tread !! I'll introduce 2 small fellows of mine & keep the big ones for later...

Snub Model 29, not too many of these around...

Next is my favorite 44, a Model 624 in .44 S&W Special cal. Simply superb balance & handling !! Plus long range accuracy...

Not shown is a 4 inch 29 & a 1958 vintage 6 1/2 (my 200 yds piece)

Johnn, beautifull holster you have there !! Maker ?? Thanks for bringing up THE man responsible for the popularity of the 44 Calibers. Keith has always been my main influence in handguns and is responsible for my interest in long range hangunning. It was a long road for me to duplicate his 44 S&W Spl loadings but I made it...have since backed down...Mk

I LIKE the snubbie 29:cool:. Actually, I've never seen or heard of one previously. ;)The 'perfect' snubbie:)

That hammer looks wild! Nice engravings on that one and I can see why you don't want to drag a line down that cylinder!

Yeah...if you like Glocks you won't like all the steel and wood of those beauty revolvers.

Ben, you don't like tupperware? Colour me shocked. :D

I think you may have another fetish as well;)

That's not a fetish, that's a hobby!

I fully agree with NAA. There is nothing like a .44 with light loads. You get a fun feeling that you can't get with pistols. I have a 4" mod 29 and the recoil is quite brutal with full loads.

+1. I love shooting my Redhawk with lighter loads. It is stupid accurate and loads of fun.

My custom 5" 29-3 that I bought from Armco is my favourite wheelgun:

DSC00330.JPG

There is nothing quite as nice as S&W polished blue and beautiful wood. What a gorgeous revolver.

Another gorgeous pistol. Have I mentioned that you 12(6) guys make me sick with jealousy and envy?;)

I see posts here and there about older folk scoffing that it's video games that are getting kids into guns. And I bet the generation before you would have scoffed that it was movies for this group. I think you all know which movies.

Anyway, my .22 Heritage Rough Rider. I don't have the money to pretend to be dirty harry yet, and always wanted to be a pretend cowboy more anyway. Just came in the mail today, and I can't wait to take it out.
