The Second last Non-Registered Magnum to leave the Smith and Wesson Plant in 1942. Originally owned by my friend, former Marine Colonel and later on Station Chief of the CIA Station for Latin America in Mexico City Phil Roettinger. Now owned by myself and kept in a well-cared-for safe in Central Mexico. Written up in several places but most notably in the thread The Penultimate Pre-Postwar Magnum is in Mexico on the Smith & Wesson Forum. Used in action by the original owner on Guadalcanal and Bougainville, and carried sometimes in Central America when things looked dicey.

Man it's been a while...I'm sure I posted to this thread way back but maybe it was another revolver thread. At any rate, some of mine...
First is a S&W 14-3 which I picked up a couple of months ago maybe? I decided I wanted a dedicated 38 Special revolver and wanted to start loading for it with my very neglected Dillon 650. Needless to say my reloading room has been busy lately particularly with the family being more housebound. From the photo it looks like there's some marring or pitting at the base of the barrel / front of the receiver but they're stampings of some kind. They look German to me but I'm not really sure. I'm wondering if this gun was originally made for the German market and somehow found its way over here. Made in 1974 and by my estimate this gun is about mint.
Next up is a pair of relatively plain 7.5" Uberti Cattlemen in 45 Colt. I've decided that I want to try shooting black power rounds in these (have shot a fair amount of smokeless). I've loaded some up but haven't shot them yet. The only other thing interesting about these 2 is that I refinished the grips on them. I'm not a huge fan of Uberti red and high gloss finishes so I stripped them and refinished them with dark oak Danish Oil and pure Tung.
Last pair are the real deal: 3rd generation 5.5" Colt SAA's in 45 Colt. I got these about a year ago for the big 50. I had only intended on buying one when my lovely wife blurted out "well, it just seems silly not to have 2..."
