Got this one coming in on wednesday.......... 1972 3 screw complete with clean box, papers and mint holster. It was in storage since 76

Yup, got one, it's my Steel gun. That revolver is a serious contender to Smiths dominance!

great revolver, very robust. But its like a fat lady compared to the curves of the 686

Alas, no prohib status, but a 6" 19 is still more curvy than any 686 or a GP IMHO.

yes the older smiths are very nice, i just sold two. A 29-2 and a 28.

It helped pay for the 627 i just bought. Plus it was 8 & 3/8 bbl. While very accurate, im still partial to shorter barrels. Id have all snubbies if i could.

It'll be well worth it. I had one for a while. It didn't fit in my collection, so it had to go, but it was still one of the most fun I've had with a revolver. They're surprisingly accurate and powerful. I was ringing steel at 25 yards quite effectively.

Have a slighlty newer one and it's a tackdriver with 148 WC ..very nice
