Show your reloading benches

Yeah, they are great benches, I may get another. I am definitely getting another of their floor cabinets as I need more storage and countertop space.

Here is an updated pic...

Tell me more about your RCBS Primerchucker collector please!

Thought I join the bunch and say hi... Walk-in safe still not finished completely but the bench side is in good shape. I usually keep most bench-mounted items stored on the shelves under it, except progressive presses, but took a few out for the picture...

Old Piggyback II is set for 9mm and I don't change calibre on that. RCBS Pro 2000 is for multi calibres.

Redding Ultramag is for most rifle work requiring precision, I also have a Lee Challenger Breech Lock press for quick jobs like depriming, etc.

Recently added Frankford Arsenal primer pocket swager, fit nicely with rails on the bench. It feels like RCBS primer pocket swager does a better job but still working on that.

Lube-a-Matic II has been working nicely since 1996, using a Lyman heater underneath it.

Ok a question about your bench top with the Straps and wing nut setup. Where is it available?

Since we are in 2 week lockdown upon our return from TX, I finally got mine done half arse. not like some of the beauty stuff on these pages but...... 36" steel door & frame on drilled security hinges that opens outwards, framing on doubled up 2x6 framing with steel security mesh and 3/4" ply interior. Motorized security steel shutter but my shop encapsulates the window, so two barriers so to speak. Little tight but I'm pretty happy with it, minimal cost and lots of sweat equity, few details to go but almost. Yes, we live in a nice area but it's always nice to be loaded for bear......

I bought this place four years ago and basically gutted the upstairs as the whole place was straight out of the sixties. Redid the top floor and moved in. Still haven't done the basement so this is my temporary setup until I get the downstairs finished. It was originally two bedrooms and a wall was knocked out and it was turned into a storage area. One day I'll get the time to make a real reloading room but in the meantime I make this work.
Presses are all on steel plates that fit into a homemade receiver on the bench to allow quick changeover or complete removal for extra bench space. They are stored on a shelf where the plates just slide in so they're easy to access when required. Casting and case cleaning take place outside in the barn.

Noticed you have 2 Hornady LNL APs. Curious. Noticed if any difference in die height and collets setup on one of them are slightly off on the other AP?
I know mine would need to be adjusted from the Hornady Single stage classic to my LNL AP.
Been meaning for years to get a spacer washer machined for my Single stage classic to make up the travel difference.

One is a LNL and the other is a Projector. The LNL is set up for 9mm and pretty much stays that way. The Projector is generally set up for .40 and that's all. Loadmaster for .45's,spare turret for .44mag and the Pro1000 for .38/.357 and a spare turret for .32 S&W. I've never tried switching dies from the LNL AP to the LNL single stage for comparison. Most of it is stripped down at this point as I decided to clean all the dies a few weeks ago and have been doing rifle since.

Nothing fancy but used it like this past 10yrs+, Dillon 550 is all you need, so easy and fast to change calibers.

Lee Classic Turret press and lots of extra turrets. Set the dies up once in the spare turrets and your good to go till you change the bullet. My set up.
Spare turrets with dies set in place and then the press with turret turner removed and a Dillon roller handle.

I have a modest wee setup compared to some of the cracking benches here! It suits me though, and I only reload .223, .270, and .308 so I have no need for a lot. Having said that though, the words 'want' and 'need' are synonymous when it comes to reloading equipment! I use a Lee Classic Press and mostly Lee dies, although the RCBS ones are pretty good too for what I need. I reload stalking ammunition, so I don't need sub-MOA accuracy. I'm a tad anal though, so if my loads call for, say, 54 grains of H4831 that's what has to go in the case. I even have a set of tweezers to add or remove powder kernels to get it exact. Pretty sure that says a lot about me, lol! Next on the equipment list is a wet tumbler using stainless steel pins so I can get my brass a shiny as a shiny thing.
